a boring way to do this would be to add an adapter/socket of some kind that, if unlocked, would allow the weapon to use overleveling mechanics. the cool way would be to have mods with negative capacity (like aura mods) with tradeoffs to account for the power. prolly from tau path

@D2020T @0xr3dd0g no, it simply builds up a mediocre resistance as they take damage. it caps out pretty low bc they used to be damage sponges. making it limited (even if only temporary by tying it to active statuses) would allow them to crank it up and force build diversification
