There is a popular, but false, belief that an effective way of dealing with possessed dolls is to dismember them with iron then bury them on hallowed ground in soil seeded with salt.
This is effective only in the short term.
Within one lunar cycle they will reform & seek revenge.

In 1973 an industrial accident at the Magestix Plastics factory caused a worker, Amy Tiville, to fall screaming into a vat of molten plastic.
Her skeleton was recovered hours later.
Rather than waste the plastic, production continued.
2486 dolls were made.
Many are still at large
