@Anastasia_Hibbs @NateSell8 This was exactly how I felt, and I cried at the end too (because of the nostalgia). I’m glad I’m not going crazy here. It was really good despite the couple of background dancers. It’s definitely more true to the musical compared to other musicals with the songs.

@Anastasia_Hibbs Literally me! All of the theatre people I know love it, but the interviews make me nervous. I was also informed to not listen to the soundtrack until I watch the movie because it’s a spoiler—even if you’re familiar with Wicked. I’m anxious about what’s been changed lol

There’s also Jersey Boys, Ain’t Too Proud, Moulin Rouge, MJ the Musical, Beautiful the Carol King Musical, The Cher Show, Rock of Ages, We Will Rock You, On Your Feet!, & Juliet, The Who’s Tommy, etc. etc.

Creativity is the focused combination of unlikely things. Your mind locks onto a certain element and then searches widely for something unexpected that fits with it. What can scuba diving teach you about agriculture? What can trees teach you about public speaking? There is always some connective tissue between disciplines. If you wish to be more creative, look for the connections between two previously unconnected things.

@CatholicOrca They’re both correct. I’ve heard from a theatre professor (we learned IPA for correct pronunciations) that “iyther” is more of a tendency in British English and “eether” is more common in US English. However, many people including myself use both versions here in the states. 🤷🏻‍♀️
