Heartfelt thanks to @USNatArchives for reuniting me with my dearest friend @Portia1776 for July 4. Her love sustains me, all these years.

Dr. Benjamin Rush foretold @Thos_Jefferson and I would pass away on the same day. Please note I am a gentleman. Jefferson may go first.

Memorable July 4 @USNatArchives. Nice to know the Second President is not forgotten and Abigail Adams is so fondly remembered. Huzzah!

On this date in 1776, wrote Mrs. Adams that July 2 would be nation's birthday celebration. I am no psychic. @USNatArchives @ah_theatre
