i honestly don’t really know T___T
did it just happen on its own? haha

every time i start a new piece i feel like it’s terrible and the previous one was better, but somehow something decent comes out in the end? ahaha

this piece took 49 hours according to clip studio (a week). i’m honestly so tired of this illustration, but i wanted to finish it properly since i already put so much effort into it lol

also for this one i used the original artwork of this character as reference and tried to adapt the dress pattern as close as my skill allowed… everything i do is basically just overlay and color burn “by feel”… god i’d be such a bad teacher

i’m self-taught, i don’t really know theory, i just go by intuition or look at references for different fabrics and lighting… like for the hands i literally used my own as reference and copied the lighting exactly…

i’m not really that skilled or talented, i just know how to adapt and grind a ton of hours T__T

ah i’ve actually been drawing since school? like 10 years?
but if you think about it, i’m kinda bad… i could’ve achieved way more…

although i only started taking art seriously last year instead of treating it like a hobby, and i’ve probably drawn as much in that year as i did in the previous years lol

…….yeah that’s way too many words… i kinda overdid it haha
