Doing a little digging, this airframe has been in storage in France since Dec. 2023.
Metrea, the private contractor who now operates a fleet of KC-135R and one C-135FR, bought 14x C-135FR/KC-135RG from the French Air and Space Force (FASF) back in 2024. 11x C-135FR were transferred (not all were delivered) to Metrea at the time of the signing, with 3x KC-135RG to be transferred at a later date. This airframe, like a number of those 11x, was still parked in France as of last week. The aircraft will likely undergo a maintenance period and be equipped with additional systems before being added to the service of Metrea.

In addition to the airframes bought from FASF, Metrea also bought 4x KC-135R from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) back in 2020 and have been operating them since.
