For me this is a joke - I’m spitting distance from the M25 but still have to rely on a 4G connection for decent broadband. Openreach can only offer 9Mbps down/600Kbps up. For the same cost EE is consistently providing 30Mbps down/8-10Mbps up - not fibre but better than copper.
