We have successfully completed the calibration of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) at #NIAirport. A Beech King Air 360ER from @AAI_Official began the calibration process on 10th Oct, with the process concluding on 14th October.

Calibration flights begin to test Instrument Landing System - ILS and Precision Approach Path Indicator - PAPI, at Noida International Airport in Jewar.

Commercial trials in November 2024 and first commercial flight on 17 April 2025.

To ensure the highest standards of Safety and Precision in #AircraftOperations at Indian Airports, the Flight Inspection Unit of AAI regularly conducts calibration of the crucial Instrument Landing System.

As the development work of #NaviMumbai Airport inches towards readiness, #FIU of AAI is presently undertaking calibration works of Instrument Landing System #ILS for Runway 26/08. The #ILS is an essential facility which aids pilots in navigating to the runway even during low-visibility conditions.
