The replies on this tweet tell you why it is very necessary to live in a gated community even in a city like Mumbai. The hatred that is filled amidst mostly commoners is dangerous. I used to think Mumbai/Maharashtra is the most tolerant city. Very necessary to live only amidst elite or in your closed circles even here..

How can a simple white paint cause so much controversy? How can you despise a truly peaceful community when they generate 20% of jobs in your city despite being 4% of the population? Many people will struggle to pay their EMIs and rents if they stop their businesses for a few weeks.. Creating businesses takes balls and sometimes your life, not everyone’s cup of tea..

@DhairyaDhruv I am in full support of communal housing over cosmo… especially when you have to live with radical people. But I’m surprised to see so much hatred even within the not so radical ones when I though Mumbai/Maharashtra is amongst the most tolerant places of all in India..

@HDFCBank_Cares Your executives in Nagpur road, Chandrapur branch are so slack in even opening an account that they delay it as per their convenience. Even while opening an account they can’t fulfill their commitment I can’t expect how they will behave once we are their customer.

Around 10-12 lakh direct/indirect jobs are generated by Jains in Mumbai. That is around 18-20% of jobs. Even if we consider 15% of total jobs generated by a community which is only 4% of its population, it is significant. Mumbai & Maharashtra happen to be the most tolerant place in India. Wonder why propoganda by a guy who posts his wife’s objectionable photos on social media for popularity is being taken seriously to create a non issue….

Serious breach of privacy… My bank account statements still being emailed to my uncle who was a joint account holder 2+ years back. I had given a formal complaint more than a year back. Have never seen such a case earlier..
