Just before leaving Manchester I popped to the conference. Bumped into Steve Bray, legendary Brexit protestor. I know this looks photoshopped, camera maybe too smart..:). I also bumped into a conservative politician I’ve been on the airways with recently, I asked how it was going, bit cheekily really, coz it looks like a car crash from the outside - and I immediately felt bad, she was visibly upset with the situation, the approach being taken, the lack of focus on actually doing something positive - it all made sense, many of us feel this way…..

Surely we could invest in planes to take over local bus routes also. It’d make a trip to the shops speedier & more comfortable.

LHR - MAN flight time: 65 min
MAN arrival to train station, hand baggage only: 25 min
