A busy day for Gemma who is loading up her car with some of your donations. She is heading off to get one of our houses ready to welcome a young Mum and her child to our project next week. We will be making sure they have everything they need in their new home.

Today's poverty stats from the DWP are horrendous.

4.3 million children in relative poverty - the highest ever
3.6 million children in absolute poverty - up 300k

2.2 million children living in "food insecure" households
820k children living in households that use foodbanks

Hosts don't need specific qualifications - just understanding and patience. We provide a generous weekly allowance, training & support. If you think you can help a young person develop the confidence they need to move on to a brighter future and a place of their own get in touch.

We're seeing a big rise in the number of young people aged 16 to 21 needing a safe home and we're looking for more people to join our team of supported lodgings Hosts. If you have a spare bedroom and want to make a positive difference in someone's life please contact us.
