🚨Scammer Alert

Abdul Hameed Moosa (Feyrumaage, Lh. Kurendhoo) (left) and Mohamed Hassan (Maajehjige, N. Maalhendhoo) are scammers.

He tells people he has millions of dollars stuck overseas (usually claiming it’s in Thailand) and says he needs help to release the money. He then promises the victim a 5–10% share if they assist but the entire story is fake and the real goal is to trick people into sending him money.

He is working with Mohamed Hassan (Maajehjige, N. Maalhendhoo), who has a known history of financial crimes and is currently living in Cambodia. He left Maldives during the early COVID period, leaving his Maldivian wife behind.

This duo has already scammed over 1 million MVR from multiple victims and they may still be targeting more people using the same tactics.

Warn your family and friends. Do not engage with them or send any money.

But newspapers like @AdhadhuMV making headlines on that is I think premature cause even Police couldn’t find evidence of cat meat in kitchen.

This is more likely an illegal short eats business.
