Dear trader, make sure you create time for enjoyment cos time for suffering creates itself.
Things I personally do on weekends,
1. Clean my set up area
2. Watch movies
3. Go out to play tennis (started this recently)
4. Cook for myself (I find it therapeutic)
On Sunday, I gear up against Monday by looking at all the pairs I trade end of the week candle closure and draw out things I want to see with the new week candle opening, then I proceed to relaxing the whole day after I’m done.
GMGM, make sure you touch grass today🫵
Not just the wins, I make losses too. Took two trades this morning and both hit my Sl. I’m not the trader that’ll only choke you with the winning trades, in as much as losses are inevitable in the game, how much you lose when you lose and how much you gain when you win will determine your long time stay in the game.
GMGM and TGIF
I was live trading today, my mind told me fear and greed controls the market right? get a pen and paper jot how many times you might have entered or allowed the trades to run and check how many times each failed. Then you will understand.
Peace and happiness are two distinct concepts, happiness is a feeling of joy and contempt while peace is being calm, ensuring inner stability, I chose peace because happiness most times can feel like validation.
Looking back at last year’s results, I really did a lot of improvement on myself, I actually felt like I did nothing but come to think of it I actually did something, from a competition trader to a funded trader. It was masssive, ajeh! 🔥
Lessons I have learnt this year.
1. Your stop-loss should be an invalidation zone.
2. Risk Management is what will make you last longer in the markets.
3. Have realistic expectations.
4. The process is as important as the outcome.
5. Set and Forget.
If the cost of learning the way all about paying the mentorship fee, I will pay them twice
I can’t emphasize enough on this but most of you actually don’t know what it takes to learn this game
Blood, sweat and tears
Anger, fear, frustration, stress, anxiety, family, friends, relationships and even your health
It cost a lot to learn this game
