Godot 4.7 has released and adds a bunch of “Day One” support and new features for various XR platforms
This includes production-ready support for games on AndroidXR and SteamOS on the Steam Frame
They also added HDR output to Windows, macOS, iOS, visionOS, and Linux (Wayland)

@NathanGDQuest the Godot tours need a separate platform agnostic download.
I used the macos version since it's the only version that wasn't bundled with the editor and it worked great with the Android editor and with the XR editor.
@NathanGDQuest interactive #GodotEngine tutorials are some of the best I've seen!
They integrate directly within the #Godot Editor making it easy and intuitive to follow along (and they work with the #XR editor too)!

Having alternative pipelines for XR app generation is a huge win. I haven't tried this yet, but having an open source game engine have a standalone Quest app to make VR from within VR has huge promise. Likely needs more iterations to be more efficient than desktop, but exciting!

@KenneyNL I think your work is very well suited for VR and I would love to see something like MakeRoom in VR.
I just gave the Godot Editor on the Quest a first quick 5 minute spin and whoever is making XR decisions inside Meta needs to make this a first party product.
This thing is ACTUALLY really usable and a joy to work with. If you have a keyboard with touchpad you don't even need controllers. This will make everyone a VR dveloper and with ease at that.
