@big_dog87@TheAppleDesign Aluminum isn’t the main hero here. The real change is moving the SoC out of the stacked PCB to the center of the chassis. Heat now spreads across the glass back instead of baking the frame. It will work fine if apple switches back to titanium like on the air or duo
@LuftkoppTim My guess is that next year the focus will be the new design and maybe the custom-made LOFIC sensor for the main camera, and that's about it for the year. After that they will focus on either the UW and/or telephoto again.
@saaaanjjjuuu This is nothing new. Magnets can already interfere with optical image stabilization if the lens is stabilized by magnets, and it is not an issue.
@mrtechsense iPhone 4 was also capable of running Siri, but apple kept it exclusive for iPhone 4S. "Steve Jobs wouldn't have allowed it". What a bullshit take 😂
@TypicalTechLad@theapplecycle The bezels are not really “thicker”. you simply see more of the glass and less of the aluminium body. We had the same effect already with Series 10.
@iM4CH3T3 An employee at the Genius Bar once told me that the battery only gets replaced if it drops below 80% within 2 years. If it drops below 80% after 2 years, it's considered typical wear and tear and isn't covered. But it was 3 years ago or so.
