@lucy_la_la Same for me. As I’ve got older, my contact lens px has decreased & the stygmatism in my one eye also reduced, so the px for both eyes is the same. My optician suggested just wearing one contact lens - game changer. Now only wear 2 when driving 🤗

So, after nearly three years of walking sticks or crutches to get about I now have new hips on both sides. It’s been tough & I have hit lows that I never thought I would reach mentally. I have been in some very dark places, which only the OH has got me out of. He is my rock ❤️

They still put them on, but they try to make it look like a code.

We all know that the pension age for women born in the sixties has been raised. Did you know a campaign called ‘Back to 60 Movement’ has won the right to a Judicial Review and is taking the DWP to the High Court? On the 5th and 6th June they will attempt to get women justice over non consultation in raising the pensionable age to 66 and above.
Michael Mansfield QC will lead the case and the argument for the movement. However, there does not appear to be any media coverage regarding this significant event. That is why we’re raising the awareness now. Let's hope for justice rightly deserved.
There appears to be a media blackout on this issue, which suggests that the government have put a block on the media reporting it. So let’s use social media for what it’s good at - share the hell out of this. Come on ladies - this is worth a great deal to you!'

@ScrappyN My Scottie Arri Angus, had a stoma hole, when he couldn’t pee normally, ok he was 2yrs old when we found out he needed it, but he coped with it. He still did “boy” wees right up till he was 16. Could this be a possible option? Stay strong, sending much love xx

People are asking what the British equivalent of the American dream is.

It is to own a little plot of Britain that you can call your own. To fill it with a family, a waggy-tailed dog and a sleepy cat. To be generally left alone there, in private, to emerge only when you want to, perhaps to potter around in the garden, or in the shed. Or pootle down to the pub, to exchange a few words of small talk with the regulars over a pint, or to sit in the corner with your beer and a newspaper. Or to take a brisk walk along winding country lanes, past neatly hedgerowed fields after Sunday lunch. Or to watch the village cricket team on a lazy, golden Saturday afternoon. Or to march into town with the bigger crowds to cheer on the football team. Or stand clutching a thermos of hot soup watching the bonfire.

This is the British dream. To be left alone in one's castle.
