🟢A VCP pattern, or Volatility Contraction Pattern, :-
It is a powerful technical analysis chart formation showing a stock consolidating in a tightening range (like a series of smaller cups/bases) after a strong uptrend, indicating supply drying up, building energy, and setting up for a significant breakout with heavy volume.

📌Key Characteristics of a VCP

1⃣Strong Prior Uptrend:
The pattern forms within an existing bullish trend (Stage 2)

2⃣Price Contractions:
A series of 2-5 smaller pullbacks (like mini-bases or "cups") where each dip is shallower than the last, creating higher lows

3⃣Contracting Volatility & Volume:
Price swings get smaller (tighter) with each pullback, and trading volume decreases as sellers exhaust themselves.

4⃣Clear Pivot Point:
A distinct resistance level (the last swing high) that the price needs to break through.

5⃣Breakout:
A sharp upward move through the pivot point on heavy volume, signaling the end of the consolidation and the start of a new uptrend.
