I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone. Every day, older patients call us confused.

They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link. Some of them do not know what a portal is.

Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.

He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.

He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.

But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.

Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.

Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

As I had my morning lemon water , I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. Jesus is warning us.

I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone.

You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

• If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.

• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.

• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.

• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.

• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.

• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.

• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.

• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.

• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.

• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!

Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a man made virus, but it racist to refer to it as evil even though it began in our own Government!

We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right.

Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choices wisely! Jesus is Coming Very Soon.

As we bear and proclaim the name and Atonement of Jesus Christ in all the world, it is important for each of us to remember that we are called first to teach, testify, and convert all to the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.  

Conversion to the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints follows naturally from that. The proper order of conversion is vital.   

Today in Brazil we rejoiced to join with many of these converted disciples of Jesus Christ as we gathered for the dedication of the Belo Horizonte Brazil Temple—the country’s 12th operating temple. 

Temples are essential to our Heavenly Father’s plan for His children. In these houses of the Lord we are taught the most important things we can learn and do in mortality and in the life that follows. 

I pray that those who worthily serve in this temple and temples around the world will participate with joy and be enlightened and guided by all that is said and done in the house of the Lord.

No one warned me about the grieving that would come with the reality of knowing I’m on the “back 9” of life.

“True disciples do not ignore the seemingly small things that sustain and strengthen their testimony of Jesus, such as prayer, study of the scriptures, Sabbath observance, partaking of the sacrament, repentance, ministering, and worship in the house of the Lord.

President Nelson reminds us that “with frightening speed, a testimony that is not nourished daily ‘by the good word of God’ can crumble.

Thus, … we need DAILY experiences worshipping the Lord and studying His gospel.”

Then he added: “I PLEAD with you to let God prevail in your life.

Give Him a fair share of your time.”

Very sobering words— we see testimonies crumbling around us every day. The Lord is calling for us to stay close to Him.

It is worth ANY sacrifice of “earthly things” we have to make to be able to spend more time with Him each day.

He invites us to walk with Him to keep us spiritually safe.
