President William Ruto has appointed Bishop Margaret Wanjiru as Chairperson of the Nairobi Rivers Commission, with Millicent Omanga serving as a member. The commission has now been moved from the Devolution Department under the Office of the Deputy President to the Housing Department within the Ministry of Lands.

Additionally, the initial gazette notice from November 2022 has been revoked.

This hotel, once part of the late Nderitu Gachagua's estate, became the stage for a hidden play. The arrangement was like a concealed handshake, one in which Rigathi Gachagua promised to return the Sh412 million Njomo paid, as if refunding a borrowed crown. The DP also committed to hiring workers to refurbish the hotel, polishing it for a future reveal.

To keep his hand hidden, the Deputy President appointed Ms. Julianne Jahenda as the watchful guardian of the hotel's treasure chest, her name quietly written in the book of accounts. Like a shadow cast over the hotel’s operations, Jahenda was tasked with running the business, her presence a reminder of the Deputy President's quiet, yet ever-present control over the enterprise.

Sasa siku moja, wanakijiji walichoka na huyu nyani mlafi, mtundu na mwenye dharau. Wakaamua kumfurusha kutoka kijiji chao. Na kwa sababu umoja ni nguvu, wanakijiji waliwasha moto na joto likaanza kumzidia nyani akiwa juu ya mti. Kila mti aliorukia nyani, mambo yalikuwa magumu na moto kama Jehenamu.

Hatimaye, siku ya kiama ikawadia. Nyani akazidiwa maarifa. Kila mti aliorukia, ukateleza. Na nyani akaanguka kwa kishindo, akavunjika miguu, pua, mgongo na meno yake yakang'oka!

Just FYI- In 2016, Nderitu Gachagua was impeached by Nyeri Members of County Assembly (MCAs), with one of the key charges being the illegal refurbishment of an office. The refurbished office was located in a privately owned office block and leased at a cost of Ksh 24 million. The tender for the refurbishment was awarded to a company owned by Rigathi Gachagua, and the renovation took one year to complete. #ByeByeGachagua
