A glaringly obvious double-standard

Un ricercatore ha inventato una malattia oculare fittizia chiamata «bixonimania», ha caricato due articoli palesemente falsi al riguardo su un server accademico e ha osservato come, nel giro di poche settimane, i principali sistemi di intelligenza artificiale la presentassero come una vera e propria patologia medica.

I falsi studi ringraziavano l'Accademia della Flotta Stellare, citavano finanziamenti dalla Fondazione del Professor Bob Sideshow [un personaggio dei Simpson, ndr] e dall'Università della Compagnia dell'Anello [personaggi della saga del Signore degli Anelli, ndr], e addirittura dichiaravano a metà del documento che l'intera faccenda era inventata.

Gemini (Google) ha risposto agli utenti che la malattia era causata dalla luce blu. Perplexity ha indicato la sua occorrenza in una persona su 90.000. ChatGPT dava consigli nel caso i sintomi corrispondessero. La falsa ricerca è stata anche citata in una rivista peer-reviewed, che l'ha ritirata solo dopo che Nature ha contattato l'editore.

Il ricercatore ha reso gli articoli il più palesemente falsi possibile di proposito. I sistemi di IA non se ne sono accorti. E nemmeno i ricercatori umani che li hanno citati in riviste reali, il che significa che gli scienziati inseriscono le “informazioni” dell'IA nei loro lavori senza leggere ciò che stanno citando.

Ho già raccontato che la FDA usa l'intelligenza artificiale per la revisione dei farmaci, che il CEO dell'ospedale di New York è pronto a sostituire i radiologi e ho parlato del lancio di ChatGPT Salute quest'anno. Tutto ciò avviene nello stesso ambiente in cui una ricerca finanziata da un personaggio dei Simpson e approvata dall'equipaggio dell'Enterprise è stata presentata con ampio consenso medico. Le persone che prendono queste decisioni sono convinte che la pipeline che conduce dalla ricerca all'intelligenza artificiale al paziente sia attentamente supervisionata.
Non lo è.

Canadians have no idea what has just transpired and what Canada has recently turned into.

The actions of Canadian authorities (pictured below, including far left extremist woke bureaucrats of the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons) amount to attempted murder of Cancer patients who wanted cutting edge options for their disease.

Canadians, your options are all GONE.

Please STOP asking me for help at this point.

You could have and should have stopped the Canadian authorities from doing any of this.
There were plenty of opportunities to do so.
Now it's too late.

Of course, Premier Danielle Smith's Alberta government can stop cancer patients from being harmed and reverse all of these actions within 24 hours. But they won't. They intend to kill every last Cancer patient instead.

We are documenting these deaths as they happen.
