HOW TO GET A JOB IN CRYPTO

Trading is fun, but have you thought about starting your builders arc? I spoke with @EmilyCryptoJobs on our podcast to figure out what the best ways are to land a job in crypto.

Here's a few tips to get you started (podcast link at the end of the tweet):

Build in public
The best way to get noticed is creating public content and showing your work. By showing who you are and what your skills are, others can see how you would perform at their project. Building in public can be scary, but as long as you see the response as feedback to improve and can filter the valid feedback this is a great way of learning.

Build your LinkedIn
LinkedIn is used by a lot of recruiters to find talent and is your public resume. Even in an anon crypto world companies need to verify you are real. A LinkedIn can be that public verification of you, with your skills and experience. You can still work from your anon accounts, but to business contacts you have to be your real. Connect in real life
Find a way to connect to people in person. You can start with events in your city or meet people directly. Going to crypto conferences allows you to connect with people worldwide and focus on more specific topics. Don't be afraid to go out there, these events are some of the most open events where people are genuinely interested in building and learning together about crypto. These visitors want to seek value in relationships, so do intros where needed, bring a positive mindset and listen to the needs of others.

Don't give up
Even if there are though times in the crypto market and the job search can be tiring: don't give up. If you put in effort, you will get noticed. It is a signal you care and a show of endurance which will attract others with that same mindset.
