@DrEframSS I capitalised Christianity and it seemed inconsistent not to use capitalisation when referring to Christian-Spiritualists and Christian-Spiritualism. But in other contexts there could be reasons for not capitalising the term

@DrEframSS Interesting! I didn’t respond to the poll but would generally opt for either/depends. In my book I capitalised Modern Spiritualism mainly because I wrote about it as a movement with many followers who viewed it as religion and identified with it in that way (although not all did)

Does anyone out there know when the first written account was published about the subterranean ghost of the Royal Mile, Edinburgh? In the oral histories and folklore the ghost is either a drummer or a piper
