I once heard someone say,
"The devil doesn't make life harder for people who already belong to him."
And honestly... something about that stuck with me.
Because for the longest time I couldn't understand it.
Why do some of the worst people seem to have the easiest lives?
Why are they smiling, winning, unbothered...
while the people trying to do right feel like they're constantly fighting for peace?
And then it hit me.
The enemy doesn't waste energy on people who aren't a threat.
He doesn't need to disturb what he already controls.
He doesn't need to attack what's already surrendered.
But the ones praying... the ones healing... the ones breaking cycles...
the ones choosing God even when it hurts...
Those are the ones he tries to wear down.
So if you've been feeling stretched, attacked, exhausted, or constantly tested lately...
it doesn't always mean you're doing something wrong.
Sometimes it means you're doing something very right.
Because the enemy doesn't come after what's already failing.
He comes after what's growing.
What's changing.
What's finally getting free.
So if your life feels like a battle right now...
maybe it's because your freedom is making the darkness nervous.
And your struggle?
It might just be proof that you're dangerous to it.
