San Antonio hospitals treated patients for an array of weather-related injuries this week as freezing temperatures seized the city.

One man died of hypothermia. Others were treated for frostbite or carbon monoxide poisonings, some from using grills inside homes.

Hospitals, still facing a pandemic, saw patients who needed dialysis, ran out of oxygen, or lost power for medical equipment.

"Now that the temperatures are supposed to come back up, I'm hoping we don't see this again for at least another 20, 30 years," said Dr. Ralph Riviello.

The kitten in this clip, Presidio County Attorney Rod Ponton, told me he was happy to give people a chuckle at his expense in these stressful times.
