Brilliant football club top to bottom
Instead of stressing over your youth team's:
· Game Model
· Formation
· Set Pieces
Focus on ensuring players understand:
· When to pass vs. dribble
· When to support close vs. far
· When to keep possession vs. attack quickly
· When to press the ball vs. protect space
To any coaches who have bothered to read this… I would urge you to take some time to re-evaluate your entire body of work. Of course, analysing yourself is crucial, and something I had been doing even before I took some time off…
But I was able to adjust and add to my thoughts, I was able to outline principles that were clearer than before, that allow for creativity and flair whilst giving players a framework to fall back on.
Of course I was also inspired by the likes of Pep Guardiola (who isn’t nowadays)… I was head strong in the way I wanted to play, and I THOUGHT I was clear on my principles.
Taking some time off from football gave the opportunity to essentially start again… Throughout my coaching journey, I developed a reasonably clear way I wanted to play… inspired by some fantastic coaches I’ve had the pleasure to play for and coach with, such as @BarrowSteve ❤️
As much as I find Southgate Ball very boring and uninspiring, he made the right decisions yesterday, and because of that, we’re in another final ⚽️ fair play to the man! Fantastic man manager, great guy, just a shame about his tactics 🥴
“The language that we use… even in the question ‘Do we have a sick note culture?’ It’s cruel”
Chair of the NHS Confederation Victor Adebowale says the use of “performative” language needs to stop, and the government should show more "compassion"

Millions of Brits wrapping up warm in blankets, afraid to put their heating on, unable to use a tumble dryer to dry laundry, choosing wether to heat or eat, watching every penny on groceries, unable to have any social Funtime, and Rishi Sunak pledges 2.5 billion to Ukraine
New business venture launched. If you need a hand with your turf maintenance either at home, commercial or sports pitch give me a shout.
Slitting to aid drainage is particularly relevant currently.
Significant price reductions throughout January as I get going.

A rousing performance of 'Fairytale of New York' was given by Glen Hansard and Lisa O'Neill at the funeral of Shane MacGowan in Nenagh, Co Tipperary. The performance was greeted by cheers inside and outside the church | https://t.co/a1x3oRVRMz
Goodbye Shane. Fairytale of New York today played from speakers with mourners celebrating his life & legacy.
Not just the best Xmas song of all time, one of the greatest songs ever written.
The final verse resonates with anyone who’s lived and loved:
Shane: I could have been someone.
Kirsty: Well so could anyone. You took my dreams from me.
When I first found you.
Shane: I kept them with me babe.
I put them with my own.
Can't make it all alone.
I've built my dreams around you.
#RIPShane
From Nadine Dorries's resignation letter to Rishi Sunak:
"You hold the office of prime minister unelected, without a single vote, not even from your own MPs"
“You have no mandate from the people, and the government is adrift"
"Why is it that we have had five Conservative Prime Ministers since 2010, with not one of the previous four having left office as the result of losing a general election?"
"Since you took office a year ago, the country is run by a zombie Parliament where nothing meaningful has happened. What exactly has been done or have you achieved?"
"Your actions have left some 200 or more of my MP colleagues to face an electoral tsunami and the loss of their livelihoods, because in your impatience to become prime minister you put your personal ambition above the stability of the country and our economy"
"You flashed your gleaming smile in your Prada shoes and Savile Row suit from behind a camera, but you just weren’t listening"
"London is now losing its appeal as more UK-based companies seek better listing opportunities in the U.S. That, Prime Minister, is entirely down to you"
"It is a modus operandi established by your allies which has targeted Boris Johnson, transferred to Liz Truss and now moved on to me. But I have not been a Prime Minister. I do not have security or protection. Attacks from people, led by you, declared open season on myself and the past weeks have resulted in the police having to visit my home and contact me on a number of occasions due to threats to my person"
"You have no mandate from the people and the Government is adrift. You have squandered the goodwill of the nation, for what?"
"Levelling up has been discarded and with it, those deprived communities it sought to serve. Social care, ready to be launched, abandoned along with the hope of all of those who care for the elderly and the vulnerable. The Online Safety Bill has been watered down. BBC funding reform, the clock run down. The Mental Health Act, timed out. Defence spending, reduced. Our commitment to net zero, animal welfare and the green issues so relevant to the planet and voters under 40, squandered. As Lord Goldsmith wrote in his own resignation letter, because you simply do not care about the environment or the natural world. What exactly is it you do stand for?"
"Disregarding your own chancellor, last week you took credit for reducing inflation, citing your ‘plan’. There has been no budget, no new fiscal measures, no debate, there is no plan. Such statements take the British public for fools"
Sarah Moulds crying about how she’s been hounded on social media after that video of her punching and kicking a horse went viral!
There is NO excuse for #AnimalAbuse ~ EVER!!
