@aria_gerson Not as many “tank the RPI” games on the schedule. Teams like Alabama and Auburn had this last year. Not the most amazing records, but only had 9-10 Q4 games and took care of them. Both were below .500 in Q1 games. Both finished top 9. Both top 8 seeds.

@aria_gerson A LOT of matchups with teams who finished top 40 RPI last year. By my count, only 3 games against teams who finished in the 200s - Evansville, MTSU, Belmont. 35 out of 56 against teams who finished in top 100 RPI. (And that’s not factoring that SC will be somewhat improved.)

@aria_gerson You’re right. Put the ball in play and good things happen. Ward’s 19 conference RBI’s would be tied with Johnston for 4th in 2026. Ryker led the team in conference RBI’s with 23 - with half as many home runs as Mancini and Goodin.
