Strength Training pre-puberty lays the foundation for massive success.
You lay the groundwork for the neural network before androgenic effects of Puberty allowing athletes to capitalize immediately.
You give them a head start as well as extend their Peak. Train them young!💪🏻
I work with middle school athletes who struggle to count and add weight on the bar. While 95% of the time, it's irritating to tell them how much every time. The other 5% of the time tho👀 when they miscount and accidentally hit PRs is pretty awesome.
Jumping is one of the best ways to train explosive strength. It is the expression of rapid force production💥 this is why every workout has some form of jumps for my young athletes! Follow to see youth athlete training🫱🏽🫲🏽
I don’t view our Weight-room training separate from our Sprint and Jump work.
It all works synergistically to create a more explosive athlete.
All three have to be optimally balanced for the best result.
If you are a HS strength coach and not following @Tyry202, you should.
“Simple” creativity, challenging conventional methods & a willingness to share… what the community needs more of. Appreciate you Coach! 👊
