@sfstandard@allaboutgeorge He's gotta come up with some major cash for the civil lawsuit against him by his victims family. Not to mention he's gotta pay for his 2nd set of lawyers since his big Miami lawyers couldn't save him.
@MelanieWoodrow any court update from yesterday in Re: to the #BobLee case? Praying Momeni's sentencing will FINALLY happen! He's guilty of murder and deserves to be in federal prison, not serving easy time in a county jail! Thanks in advance for any insight you can share.
Nima Momeni, convicted in December of murder in the stabbing death of Cash App founder Bob Lee, will be sentenced May 16. Lee's family members may speak at sentencing.
Momeni refused to appear in court today.

@MelanieWoodrow What would happen if it's a hung jury? Is it up to prosecution to decide whether they want to retry? Based on previous hung jury cases in SF, how likely is it that they would retry?
No verdict after the 4th day of deliberations is not looking good for the prosecutor. Let's hope justice prevails for Bob Lee. Nima Momeni is a murderer who deserves to rot in jail.
@maroonwanderer No it wasn't a knife. Defense tried to make us all think it was by waiting till the 11th hour to show us footage that they knew wouldn't be rebutted, but Lee's ex wife explained it was a metal collar stay, which in low res video looks the same as a knife!
@DebiMoo77484481 @jonahowenlamb Defense came off as cocky & slick (VERY unlikable) & was throwing any and everything at the wall trying to make it stick but to me, it was all pretty laughable. Only concern was jury never got to hear the "knife" Bob was seen using in surprise vid was explained (collar stay)
@DebiMoo77484481 @jonahowenlamb I was at closing arguments both days and honestly I don't think defense has a chance. The prosecution did a very compelling job showing how logically the evidence, piece by piece by piece, shows why Momeni should be found guilty. Also, to me, Defense did nothing to change that op
