@m_fatimaah The problem is that not everyone get to know who is a Dr, a nurse or other paramedics in hospital including our educated people in this country. For as long as u are in hospital you are a Dr. And anything done wrong they will use Dr title.

My heart goes out to her & the kid on this, but I don’t get how unavailability of phototherapy machine turns out to be doctors negligence. She made mention of General Hospital where the government provide such.Negligence unfortunately happens,but i don’t think it is the case here

This woman's son was born blind due to a "medical error" by a Nigerian hospital. Medical negligence is all too common in Nigeria, damaging many lives. In a case I prosecuted when I was practicing as a lawyer, a doctor removed both of my clients' kidneys and got his family to bury them, thinking they're a tumour.
