زينب سعيد، باحثة صومالية تبلغ من العمر 29 عامًا، وطالبة دكتوراه في جامعة خليفة، تسعى لإحداث تحول حقيقي في مستقبل المواد المستدامة، من خلال أبحاثها ومشاريعها الريادية في مجال العلوم والتكنولوجيا.

شاركت سعيد في تأسيس شركة Solid Form Innovations، التي انبثقت عنها تقنية PolyNovate، المعتمدة على أساليب متقدمة لإعادة تدوير نفايات البلاستيك الحراري، وتحديدًا البوليسترين، وتحويلها إلى جزيئات صغيرة عالية النقاء تُستخدم في تطب��قات صناعية ودوائية، إلى جانب قطاع مستحضرات التجميل.

ولا يتوقف الابتكار عند إعادة التدوير فقط، إذ تعمل الشركة أيضًا على تطوير مواد بلاستيكية ذكية قادرة على التحلل الطبيعي عند التعرض للضوء، في خطوة تهدف للحد من التلوث البلاستيكي وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية.

وتخضع هذه التقنية حاليًا لمراجعة مكتب تسويق وترخيص الملكية الفكرية في جامعة خليفة، ما يعكس الجدية العلمية للمشروع وإمكاناته التطبيقية. وفي الوقت نفسه، تعمل سعيد على استكمال إجراءات تسجيل الشركة، والتواصل مع مستثمرين محتملين لتسريع تطوير وتسويق تقنية PolyNovate على نطاق تجاري.

وفي نهاية عام 2025 جاء التتويج العالمي لـ زينب، بوصولها إلى قائمة فوربس 30 تحت الـ30 ضمن فئة العلوم والتكنولوجيا.
