It’s common that every few years the two major tribes in #Hargaysa fight over the Chairman but what people are asking is why is habarjeclo backing Garxajis? Is Ciro using them to attack Habar Awal? Why are they being used and abused as disposable tools by the larger Isaaq sub clans in this endless rivalry? Why are they pushed to the frontlines as cannon fodder.
Look at the pattern: When Musa needed bulletproof vests and foot soldiers in #gojacade, he used them and left them in Jail. #Today, Ciro is doing the exact same thing using them against Habar awal. is this group pressured to pick sides between the major Isaaq heavyweights in every secessionist fight, every election, and every clan standoff? Is this why their regions are the most underdeveloped and neglected in Somalia. While Hargeisa, Berbera, and other areas linked to bigger sub clans see investment and attention, many Habar Jeclo territories remain stuck with poor infrastructure, limited services, no hospitals or airports and economic marginalisation, so is this the direct result of being treated as loyal auxiliaries rather than equal partners within the Hargaysa Regime? Since some clan elders from Habarjeclo has asked to open talks with #TheNorthEast State, which already controls the majority of #Togdheer, Should the state step up and free them from these shackles. Habar Jeclo youth should no longer be sacrificed for the ambitions of Hargeisa's factions or as cannon fodders Enough is enough.

The United States has just delivered a clear and decisive message stating that Somaliland is state in Somalia clearing all fake rumours of recognition. In its official Report to Congress on Potential Areas for Improved U.S. Engagement with Somaliland, the State Department explicitly reaffirms that the U.S. 'recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which includes the region of Somaliland!
They're not talking about a separate state , they're talking about a region within Somalia, exactly like North east state, Jubbaland ,Puntland Galmudug or any other federal member state. All those voices who were shouting 'USA is about to recognize the one clan enclaved breakaway region Somaliland! Got a massive reality check and have been proven wrong once again. The North East State is showing real Somali leadership,standing firm as a federal member state and rejecting any division. Somaliland and the North East State are two regions within the sovereign Federal Republic of Somalia,
The USA has clearly stated that Somaliland is a region within Somalia and continues to respect Somalia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The international community works with Somaliland only under the Somalia government framework {no recognition for the one-clan secessionist}.
