@Torombolo_cl@REM__BEN Yes that could be possible and so much we will never know I suspect. Layers upon layers, al-Ghazali and others pondered on this a thousand years ago, al-Ghayb the unseeable, the unknowable, that beyond human comprehension.
@Torombolo_cl@REM__BEN Yes but... that excludes the possibility of other larger and or closer bodies external to what we know as our universe. Previously I had always understood the universe would eventually collapse back in on itself triggering a further big bang.
@Torombolo_cl@REM__BEN Indeed, if there was any credence in the multi universe theories that could explain things. The shape of the universe might also indicate the strength and direction of pull from possible exterior mass. It's mind boggling to put it mildly.
@Torombolo_cl@REM__BEN Thank you, that's very interesting. To slow it down I could understand but why the acceleration. I'm no scientist but I would hazard guess dark matter would be involved somehow although the mass of dark matter would indicate the opposite.
@Torombolo_cl@REM__BEN Why is the the speed of expnsion of the universe expanding when logic would indicate it should slow due to gravity, entropy etc.
@cleanupbritain@NationalHways Only solution is privatisation of the motorway network plus pay per mile plus only vehicles less than three years old. Reserved for the indigenous British who are not socialists of course.
