Thanks, @HMCSHarryDeWolf, for coming to Norfolk for one last stop on your amazing voyage around North America! I was thrilled to meet the crew and learn about what you did in the Arctic & elsewhere to strengthen 🇨🇦🇺🇸 ties!

[Embassy of Canada US @CanEmbUSA]

Last week, @HMCSHarryDeWolf was at @NAV_STA_NORFOLK. This week, Canada and the U.S. held the first expanded #Arctic Dialogue delivering on a commitment outlined in the Roadmap for a Renewed U.S.-Canada Partnership agreed to by President Biden & PM Trudeau in February 2021. 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Yesterday’s #Arctic Dialogue covered cross-cutting issues. As #Arctic neighbours 🇨🇦🇺🇸 work closely on search & rescue, safety & security, scientific research, environmental protection, and addressing challenges like #climatechange that impact Indigenous peoples & Northerners.
