Coco Gauff has been playing professionally for 7 years. This is only second time she ever retired midmatch. She is very professional. Don’t act like she retired just because she was losing. That’s bull. She comes back and wins after being behind all the time. She even apologized and said she could not go on because she had pulsing pain running up her arm. You try to play tennis like that. Very rude to even suggest this of Coco. She is very professional and has great sportsmanship.

Tennis, as a professional sport, is the least professional. As soon as a high-ranking athlete loses to a lower-ranking one, they immediately withdraw, retire. I can't recall any other sport with so many retirements during a match. The statistics are so bad—there's no point in playing!
