I support HB492 to have coaches trained in mental health. The biggest obstacle to suicide prevention is we don’t talk about it.
(It’s Taboo.)
Let everyone know that they are NOT alone, there’s more support than they think, & this can unite.
Prayers to the Albany family in the passing of Tom, ‘07. Details are unknown and forthcoming, but we grieve with his loss. Tom was a veteran and served his country proudly, living his days after his service in Colorado. Tom was a founding member of our team and will be missed.
A bill was introduced in the Ohio House to make mental health training a required component of the coach certification process with HB492. To my knowledge, this is the first law of its kind in the country. @wsyx6@DOMTIBERI@wkyc@nbc4i@10TV @claywsyx6 @ryandaytime
@themazz13@jjboggs@Pedro32santos His name is Chris! I was lucky enough to be his teacher, and he completely changed my life. He has a history of making people happy - here is a great example: https://t.co/z5JtkfiF8a
@LongoDesignsInc Thanks Nick! I am by no means a design teacher (I can barely draw a stick figure) But I love keeping my students engaged - both in class and in the community! Thanks again for the kind words!
@CPtwothree@MattHarveySC This is absolutely amazing!! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do this for my students. They are going to freak out when I show them off tomorrow.
Just another great example of what makes this community special! Thanks for being awesome!
