It’s probably been since like 2011 that I’ve watched the Seahawks and thought it was funny if something good happened because they’re so bad

Nothing this year has truly made me feel like a senior, except this

After four years and 300+ articles my time at @thedaily is over

So here is my last article, my goodbye to the newsroom and staff who made the past four years so memorable

In fitting fashion, it was the seniors for @UW_Baseball that delivered on Senior Day in a 6-5 win over Utah | via @m_mendro

@UW_Baseball A fitting ending to an emotional game. The UW seniors finish their final home game with a close from Davis Delorefice in his final game at Husky Ballpark.

FINAL: UW 6, Utah 5

WP: A. Bloebaum (3-4), UW
LP: D. Watson (2-8), Utah
S: D. Delorefice (7), UW

Senior day here on Montlake for @UW_Baseball . . . Lots of great players and personalities to appreciate in what will likely be their (and my) final game here at Husky Ballpark

[Nick Mendro @m_mendro]

@UW_Baseball Dylan Lamb came into the game to preserve the Huskies' shaky lead. He got two outs in his final home performance before making way for Colton Charnholm.

UW 6, Utah 5 | T8

@UW_Baseball Could not have been a more fitting start for the seniors today. Braiden Ward singles, steals, moves to third on a forced throw from the pitcher, and then fellow senior Ramon Bramasco drives him home.

UW 2, Utah 0 | B1
