Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac recently dropped a joint bulletin — the November 2 UAD 3.6 mandate is technically unchanged, but lenders can now apply for extensions stretching to May 2027. On March 1, a 2.6 report comes back 999 from Freddie and 99 from Fannie.

That is not a risk score. That means ineligible. Rep and warrant relief is what lenders want, and a 2.6 file will not get it.
