These are photos of Obama at a Palestinian community dinner in Chicago seated at a table with Edward Said, Ali Abunimah and Rashid Khalidi. The latter have both attested to his betrayal and how Obama used to always attend events in their community. In 1999, Abunimah introduced him at a fundraiser for a community center in Deheisha refugee camp in the West Bank. Imagine that.

He used to be that comfortable speaking up for and being associated with Palestinians. While teaching at the University of Chicago, Khalidi lived in Hyde Park close to the Obamas. They became close friends and would have dinner together; they even held a fundraiser for Obama.
