The 4 Virtues.
Courage: Face your fears. Do hard things.
Temperance: Do the right amount of things. Resist temptation.
Justice: Do the right thing. Take action for the common good.
Wisdom: The pursuit of truth. The pursuit of learning.
Good morning from Manila! "The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history. Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history." Milan Kundera #CourageON
I like the quote which suggests that when you are dead, you do not know you are dead—the pain is only felt by others.
And the same is true for being stupid.
Rest in peace Taylor Hawkins.

See every day as a bonus
Here’s a way to feel good every day, no matter what happens. All you have to do, Seneca said, is tell yourself that you’re going to die in your sleep. “When a man has said: ‘I have lived!,” he wrote, “every morning he arises is a bonus.”
Remember: you are dying every day
“This is our big mistake,” Seneca wrote, “to think we look forward toward death. Most of death is already gone. Whatever time has passed is owned by death.” We are dying every day and no day, once dead, can be revived.
