I have just completed a customer requirement with my own implementation of inventory adjustment using interfaces and I am thrilled how elegantly this is now possible with #msdyn365bc
Bug or Feature? In v24 upgrade from 14 unmodified, Sync-NAVApp (Task 9) for 3rd-party requires not only same table IDs as it was with v23, but also identical table names. Took me hours, therefore maybe helpful for someone else #msdyn365bc
@KarolakNatalie Just today again to find invalid characters in large amounts of data where the client crashes. I use standard NAV/BC activity log for this
I seem to have overlooked the fact that also with #msdyn3655bc onPrem extension updates, the NST does not need to be restarted if code changes have been made that affecting job queue tasks. In the old days with NAV this was necessary. Any explanation how and when?
#bcalhelp We have a scenario where data from #MSDyn365BC is stored on a FTP folder from Azure Blob Storage with logic apps. The FTP Server is secured with a firewall rule. Which IP ranges must be configured (data region Central West Europe). Any Experiences with such a setup?
Code signing certificates have been getting really expensive since June 1, 2023 industry standards require private keys to be stored securely on FIPS-compliant hardware. Bad for all who has little need for #msdyn365bc appsource submissions. How do you deal with it as a dev?
@waldo1001 Always grateful for your tips and sharing of knowledge, thx. And always open for better solutions. I decided to make the repo public to give something maybe worthy to the community, because as far as I know there is no solution for onPrem at algo.
If someone in our community has a need for a solution to publish on-prem #msdyn365bc apps with #algoforgithub to different environments (prod, test, dev) here it is:
