Strimel, @MorganStrimel, Francis, and Duke @jduke4 unpack and discuss disability resource professionals’ accommodation decision-making procedures and discuss the influence of personal identities in the decision-making process. https://t.co/bY5zgN6AKN

It’s the essence of what so many who joined me at the White House today have fought for – and of the progress we’ll continue to make together.

New with @jduke4 and Grace Francis in @JPED_Journal 😊
“One consistent message expressed by participants was that diverse and dynamic identities and experiences unequivocally shaped ‘how [disability resource professionals] make decisions or respond to certain situations.’”
I’m thrilled to begin a new position today as Analyst for Education and Strategic Initiatives in Disability Services at @GeorgeMasonU! In this role, I will focus on improving access, equity, and inclusion for the disability community through research, partnerships, and education.
New with Grace Francis and @jduke4!
Key finding: Unanimous acknowledgment among disability resource professionals that positionality was an influential force in their work, with most directly tying this influence into accommodation decision-making.
