There was a news article in the SCMP today [1] which mentioned that hackers hacked Instagram accounts of people and then duped friends and family of the victims into sending them money. I have faced such attacks (called phishing attacks)

4. They're now free to use one's account to hack more accounts or ask one's family and friends for money. All it takes is a bit of social engineering to sound convincing, like "Hey, lost my phone, using FB/IG on a stranger's phone, need some money to travel".

@jacfalcon This applies to stray cats and dogs as well. They're found near human settlements because humans decided to domesticate and selectively breed them. Least we can do is to be kind to them.
