The anime is being made under the original creator’s supervision, and this performance was approved by him. That means this is the correct interpretation. This is how Tite Kubo imagined Yhwach’s laugh.

It’s not supposed to be some grand, villainous evil laugh. He’s laughing because he genuinely finds it ridiculous and absurd. That’s the kind of laugh Kubo intended for Yhwach.

I don’t care about your self-indulgent fantasy of how the performance should have been.

Tite Kubo, the creator of BLEACH, once said:

“Readers don’t have the right to change the story. They have the right to choose whether or not to read it. If you don’t like it, you can stop reading.”

So if you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch next week.

This is a Japanese anime. If you’re going to keep going this far in criticizing Japanese voice actors, then honestly, I don’t want you watching it in the first place.
