I see people making a big deal about jailbreaking the Switch 2 as a gotcha in the console wars. This stuff is all private, experimental, buggy, and requires game files from a console you already own.
It’s not like there is a public app you can click and play full commercial Nintendo Switch 2 games without limitations on your pc. Way too many hoops to jump through. I’ll just keep buying and playing my Nintendo games on the Switch systems. As will 99% of other people.
Except this isn’t emulation- this is at best a test of the decrypted files from a previous dump.
No Switch 2 emulator yet exists, and the projects pending are waiting on firmware keys to work.
Bad news for the Switch 2 hacking scene. Sounds like Nintendo is coming down hard. I know people get excited for any progress. Most of it isn't actually progress but people posting footage of fake hacks. Some of it is actual progress.
Do not post or download links, footage, or pictures of assets.
Be careful.
So this just proves they’re vibe coding MKWorld assets into MK8D
No wonder those clips look the way they do.
MK8D can’t even run them tracks properly without dowgrading LMAO 😭
@militantboner this is what they're doing and its why they cant share it.
this isn't just emulation is copyright infringment.
extremely punishable by law
@Eldonchorizo_ this is why hackers are so pissed at them. this could have been the exploit that would crack the switch 2 next decade to get them emulation instead vibe coders will be hit copyright lawsuits because they're pulling assets and putting in them in Switch 1 games to run them
I think it's best you slow your roll with all this hacked switch 2. Yes it's hacked via software but it's not hardware hacked.
That said it's still the same entry point exploit and will be patched by the next firmware update most likely. At which point they'll be stuck with only what requires just this Firmware revision or lower.
Switch 2 still hasn't been hacked at a hardware level no one has full kernel-level access so a "switch 2" so an emulator doesn't work. People can claim and run ai code to force a game to run but nothing truly playable. Which is why we see broken games that can't load in properly because Ai is trying to fill in the blanks.
Leave it to vibe coders to find an exploit and push it straight into copyright infringement LMAO
That MK8D mod using MKWorld assets exposed what they’re really doing.
Go ask pepsipu to release that WebKit he promised yall
Brotha gonna feel the full wrath of the law
Because you know what the context is- something that actually has persistence and isn’t tethered to the system and using a layered programming language in backwards compatibility mode to operate.
You know, access to boot0.
Nobody but... the whole system of capitalism and all the cops and military people who enforce it with guns with bullets and bombs etc... and the massive phalanx of propaganda as the capitalists own the media and academia. Other than that, yeah nobody is forcing the workers.
@Mrplaystation73@AnAverageGamerX To be fair he can’t disprove something that’s never been proven
What you’re doing is like the Christian asking the atheist to prove there’s no god
The ruling class's greatest trick: convincing us that protest and resistance are barbaric, while obedience and submission are civilized. The truth is the opposite.
Welcome to the future where people can vibecode games by prompting their friendly chatbot with 'Copy that game, make no mistakes', yet are so PC illiterate that they can't figure out how to run emulator or use torrent. Nightmare fuel awaits us
1) It's the dudes hacking their own switch 2 consoles telling you they need a kernel exploit for emulation.
2)
Your post lumps emulation & recomps together & all you need is vision to see this is vibecoded slop. Mario looks like a Simpsons character.

MVG did a whole breakdown and basically everything people are showcasing is Smile Basic dependant.
The second smile basic is turned off, all the "hacking." Stops.
So no actual breakthroughs, just AI code for Views & Clout as you've said.
