I think Mr. Musk is a lovely person. I am happy he is so clever and inventive. He is a generous and caring person. Always a good sign. If someone is going to be rich, he is the perfect model of what you would want them to be like. I would never want to live the life he lives, because I would absolutely hate living the life he has to live. That is the downside of money and fame. Being famous like that is like living your life in a Macy’s Christmas window display. Absolutely couldn’t stand people watching every move I make. I am way to much of a hermit to live like that.
@realMaalouf No, no, it is only America that are the bad guys. Think there might be plan behind the never ending accusations against those horrid white-skinned Americans?
How very disappointing. Looks like UAE has dropped out of the brave spot to the “let me bribe you spot.” Naughty, naughty, UAE you broke the rules. No money to Iran allowed. You just went to the the top of the “not to be trusted” list. Shame.
Completely true. I think I have met most of the requirements for proudly bearing God’s badge of weird. Sang in church choirs for years, taught Sunday School, cleaned people’s houses if they were disabled or seniors, helped with receptions at church for families who had lost a loved ones, etc., etc. Loved, suffered, and was almost always very kind. Sinned some too. I am just waiting for the Lord’s call, which I will answer with great joy.
I heard this morning that SpaceX employees may make a $1M a piece with regard to Mr. Musk’s IPO. Wow, that is pretty cool. We old-time Space Cadets didn’t get anything but our regular weekly paycheck and the pride of having participated on a team that did something that had never been done before. Enjoy!
“Slaves to serve us for eternity.” - Whoa! Goes right along with the huge Muslim slave business that existed in many Islamic countries. Interesting that no one ever maligns Muslims having had slaves, only America. How about Egypt and its Jewish slaves? I agree, the faith is very centered on materialistic rewards. When Christians get to heaven, our reward is to be with God and Jesus. No other rewards required
The “primary purpose” words could be tricky. Do they thing a woman who is pregnant and wants to get a visa to visit the USA is going to tell our government that their primary purpose in visiting is to have her child here and claim citizenship for it? I don’t think so. Are they going to give pregnant women asking for visas lie detector tests? Are they just going to take the woman’s word that it isn’t her primary purpose? How are you going to do it State Department?
@WesleyHuntTX Messed of twice. Bad day lotsof interruptions. I”ll repeat the sentence correctly. “But I am a bit iffy on whether our best days are ahead.”
