I began writing this piece with a heavy heart because it shocked me repeatedly the moment I began to analyse the way he died. And I'm also getting terrified to hear that he died in brutal and barbaric ways.

Not with standing, Abdulrahim Mustapha Abubakar is no more alive to tell us how exactly he saw it. As his brothers and sisters we must continue voicing out which in the end gives us imaginary of how it happened. I have no doubt it will happen where each imaginary will be similar. If that's the case we have already did what police will and we are giving it to them on our social media handle free of charge. Simply what I meant that police have the clue let's there be the arrest of policemen that go against traffic to and as a result they unalived a young man whom after his graduation have number of things to do to continue to live in this earth.

Unfortunately, Nigeria Police Force denied him living.

The claim that the okada rider fled the scene raises serious questions. If the victim was truly unconscious, why was he taken to the police station instead of being provided with immediate medical attention? It is well known that delays occur in police stations before transfer to a hospital. Furthermore, you as someone pursuing justice against the police, next time tell them to give you the autopsy results of what caused his death, so that you don’t end up looking like a fool among people who once regarded you as knowledgeable.

Family Accuses Police of K+lling ABU Graduate After Driving Against Traffic

Some police officers in Kaduna State have been accused of k+lling Engineer Abdurraheem Mustapha, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and postgraduate student at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

Mustapha, who was also working in Abuja, reportedly d+ed on Friday, 29th August 2025, while on his way to NDA for lectures.

According to family sources, “On Friday, 29th August 2025, on his way to NDA for lectures, his life was cut short” in what was described as the “most p@inful and unjust way near Garkuwa Junction, in Kaduna State.”

They alleged that a police van knocked down the motorcycle he was riding. His elder brother, Sabiu Mustapha Abubakar, narrated:

“He was on a bike on that Friday when the police van which was following one-way came speeding, they h+t him on the head while the bike he was on, was in motion, you know the way they do while clearing way and speeding on a major road.”

“He sat at the back of the bike, so they h+t him with the stick at the back of his head.”

Witnesses reportedly intervened, compelling the officers to take him to a hospital. Sabiu continued:

“The people there insisted that he must be taken to a hospital, that was what made the police personnel take him to hospital. When they saw that the situation was serious, they ran away.”

At the hospital, it was confirmed that Mustapha d+ed from the impact of the stick blow. “His body did not suffer any bodily h+rm but for the heavy bamboo stick which is popularly called Gora used in hitting him and k+lling him.”

The family further alleged a cover-up attempt by the police. “The police have tried to cover up the incident, claiming instead that the bike c%llided with a car but many eyewitnesses deny such claims, it is unfortunate that those meant to protect him k+lled him.”

The incident has fueled fresh concerns about police br¥tality, ab¥se of power, and disregard for human rights, despite repeated promises of reform from authorities.

Today we mourn and cry out for Justice for Engr. Abdurraheem Mustapha.🥺💔

A young brilliant engineer, a graduate of ABU Zaria, who had dreams and a future ahead of him. On 29th August 2025, his life was cut short in Kaduna in an incident involving the police.

Eyewitnesses said a police escort van drove against traffic and struck him, hitting him on the head. He was rushed to hospital but did not survive. The police deny this, but nothing can deny the painful reality a young life is gone.

We cannot stay silent. Nigeria has lost too many bright stars to reckless acts and lack of accountability. His death must not be swept under the carpet. We demand transparency, accountability, and justice for Abdurraheem.

May Allah forgive him, have mercy on his soul, make his grave a garden of Jannah, and grant his family patience in this deep trial. Ya Allah, do not let his death be in vain. Make it a means for change and justice in our land.

A @PoliceNG convoy killed our friend and they twisted the narrative, changed the statement to blame @Abdoulrahiem for his own death, even after eye witness saw an officer planking him on the head after the collision with their convoy.
Abdul might not be here with us, but those involved in this heinous crimes will meet the wrath of their maker.
