Sometimes we are the problem.

You are a top administrator in a hospital. You have three generators at your facility. You have a backup solar system.
There is an energy crisis so the regular grid is down. It is your duty to request for fuel CHITS for the generators.

What do you do? Nothing!
You make no request. Solar finishes. Light done. Three generators no fuel. You don't care!

You know how the system works, because when you personally want something done you know how to maneuver.

BUT for the hospital under your responsibility you do nothing. You leave the entire hospital in darkness risking lives and medics to work in extreme distress.

Why? You just don't care.
So light no day na hospital, so wetin? Just siddom na you office wit you big belle.

Until Sierra Leoneans treat each other with dignity, until we value the life of every Sierra Leonean natin no get for change.

Things are hard for sure for everyone but to be so nonchalant about the welfare of patients and doctors has to be a disease.

A lot of what happens in Sierra Leone is pure and simple negligence. Di wan way for care no give a dam!

Whose oversees the supervisor and who oversees that person? Cuz if everyone is always dropping the ball consistently like this how do we ever make it better?

Almost two weeks ago, I addressed 500 young people at the National Girls Summit organised by Girls Advocacy Development Network on the topic " Introduction to Entrepreneurship," and I was quite pleased to note that entrepreneurship is no longer a myth in Sierra Leone.
