This Music video collaboration with @AliZafarsays for his official music video of the song "Shiddat" is based on a thesis painting made by him in 2002 during his thesis, where the canvas comes to life depicting multiple dimensions, emotions and narratives captured in it. Translating the true essence of the poetry in Shiddat and reconstructing the worlds through various computational systems design techniques and cutting edge AI Models was one crazy ride.

A surreal music film reimagining “Dam Mast Qalandar,” blending the timeless voice of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan with the raw metal energy of Andre Antunes. This one’s a fusion experiment of architecture, storytelling, music, and tech. Building symbolic worlds, drawing meaning from the metaphors in the poetry. A crazy journey.

While making this, we spent time studying documentaries on the Sehwan Sharif shrine, its architecture, the culture around it, and the spatial sensitivities that exist within that sacred space. Understanding both the physical and metaphysical sides of the place grounded our world building.

AI tech is moving fast. It’s been a year since our last music film, “Sanson Ki Maala goes Metal featuring Andre and NFAK” went viral, and after a year of testing new tech, we’re back with something bigger, using motion capture from the archives to bring historically renowned figures to life with a level of detail we couldn’t hit before.

@AliZafarsays and the Co-Founders/Directors @fawazrehann & @Ayelaart_ sit down together and take us through their journey on how the Idea of bringing his painting (made 20 years ago in NCA- 2002 thesis) to life, was conceived, evolved and executed till the end.

The process was rigorous. Where we pushed character consistency to a premium standard using complex computational design techniques and some of the most cutting-edge AI models available, running through an enormous volume of generations along the way. Our stack included GPT 2 Image, Nano Banana Pro and training custom LoRAs for stills, alongside Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, and several others for motion.

A world exploring the paradoxes and complexities that surround us… the loops, the chaos, the search for harmony within it all…
I feel Art never truly finishes. It just keep evolving waiting for all the right moments to seen.
