I never had the chance to watch it from start to finish because of the quirks of Mexican television, but I knew the facts and characters, and it was really a treat to watch them all come together. I'm really glad I got to fill in the blanks! What a great story.

I expected something a whole lot more goofy out of it, and while it had its silly moments, I think it had a whole lot more of just artistic and traditional delight to it. The parade had me smiling and looking around in awe at all the folk tales represented in it. Love.
