Many have received notices for logical discrepancies, including age gaps 50+ years between an individual and a parent, or less than 12 years.

Cases of siblings listed less than 9 months apart have also surfaced (which electors are contesting as claims by authorities that are incorrect). These anomalies, drawn from older records, form a critical part of cleaning the draft rolls during the notice phase (17 August to 15 October).

Others are confused over the ECI website asking them to an extract of the 2002 SIR roll. "What on earth is that?" they have been asking. Further, it was not mentioned on the list of designated documents.

Some electors have pointed out that notices lack issue dates, signatures or stamps. Hearing dates have been set with little lead time (some as early as 26 August, coinciding with Milad-un-Nabi), and venues are sometimes omitted.

Website checks on https://t.co/PL4m20Tmq9 add further confusion for those without linked mobile numbers. Activists have urged the Election Commission and Telangana CEO to ensure at least 15 clear days from actual service of notice and to release clear instructional videos.

The State Government's Minority Affairs Secretary has issued a Government Order leasing 5,220 square yards of land belonging to the Urdu Academy to a private company for 30 years.

The Secretary has no power to do so. Such a decision must be approved by @TelanganaCS after issuing a public notice and inviting suggestions and objections. This entire procedure has been bypassed.
